COLD OR FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS?

If you are experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms such as a sore throat, runny nose, cough or fever we ask that you book a telehealth appointment at the practice prior to presenting in person. Appointments may be made by calling (08) 9304 1120.

For the safety of all patients, staff and doctors, please do not present to the practice if you are positive for COVID-19.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE

Helpful Resources

Please follow the guidelines listed on the Health Direct site for information on what to do if you test positive for COVID-19. They can be found through the link below as well as other resources that may be of assistance

How do I use a rapid antigen test?

For accurate results, follow the instructions on the packaging.

Ensure the test hasn’t passed the expiry date and that you do it at a particular temperature, if that’s what the instructions say. There’ll also be directions about preparing the surface on which you place the indicator device and how you collect the nasal secretion or saliva sample.

Make sure you read the result at the specified time, too — if you wait too long, the result may no longer be accurate.
