Dr Catherine Rolfe MBBS FRACGP
Dr Rolfe graduated from the University of Western Australia. Catherine has a special interest in women’s health, antenatal care, contraception, and child health.
Catherine is heavily involved in medical education, teaching medical students at UWA.

Dr Breeanna Swetman MBBS FRACGP
Dr Swetman graduated from the University of Western Australia.
Breeanna is especially experienced in child health, antenatal care, and women’s health. She performs hormonal implants for contraception. She is interested in all aspects of general health care.
Breeanna is available for consultations from Monday to Thursday.

Dr Lissie Swingler MBBS(hons) MIPH MAE FRACGP
Dr Lissie Swingler has returned from Maternity Leave and is now consulting on Tuesday and Friday mornings.
Dr Swingler graduated from the University of Western Australia. Lissie has a special interest in women’s health, antenatal care, contraception, child health, palliative care and travel medicine.
She is experienced in insertion of implanon devices.
Dr Joshua Juniper MBBS FRACGP
Dr Juniper graduated from the University of Western Australia.
Joshua is experienced in all aspects of general health care, particularly infant and child health. He has special skills in minor procedures including lesion excision and joint injection. He has a special interest in steroid injection for the management of headache.
Josh is available for consultations on Monday Tuesday and Thursday..
Dr Leanna Perret MBBS DCH
Dr Perret graduated from the University of Western Australia. She has completed a Diploma in Child Health and is trained in the insertion of Implanon. Leanna enjoys all aspects of General Practice and is available for consultations on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Dr Jan Fonseca MBBS Bsc FRACGP
.Dr Fonseca graduated from the Australian National University, and University of British Columbia in Canada, finallycompleting her fellowship in Western Australia.
She enjoys all aspects of medicine, but has a special interest in managing women's health, paediatrics, cosmetic medicine, travel medicine and palliative care. She has experience in minor surgical procedures, particularly intravenous iron infusions for managing iron deficiency anaemia.
Dr Fonseca is currently available on Mondays and Fridays
DR SARAH DEVEREUX MBBS (hons) FRACGP DIPPH DTMH DRANZCOG DCH
Dr Devereux graduated with honours from the University of Western Australia.
Dr Devereux is no longer bulk billing health care card holders,
Sarah has a wide range of hospital and General Practice experience including paediatrics, antenatal care, women's health, sexual health and orthopaedics. She holds postgraduate qualifications in Public Health, Tropical Medicine, Obstetrics and Women's Health and Children's Health. Sarah is happy to do shared antenatal care and is qualified in Implanon and mirena insertion and removal. Sarah is accredited as a Youth Friendly Doctor through the AMA. Due to personal beliefs, Sarah does not prescribe the morning after pill or refer patients for pregnancy terminations.
Sarah is available for consultations on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Dr Sean Stevens MBBS DRACOG FRACGP MBA
Dr Stevens graduated from UWA in 1993 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of GPs in 2000. His clinical interests include adult internal medicine (diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, haemochromatosis), management of skin lesions and workers compensation. Dr Stevens also has an interest in medical education.
Dr Innes Chester MBBS(HONS) BMVS BSc DCH CWH
Dr Innes Chester graduated from the University of Western Australia with honours. She has a wide range of experience including obstetrics and gynaecology, antenatal care, paediatrics, cardiology, orthopaedics and general surgery. She has special interest in women’s health, antenatal care, paediatrics and dermatology and is currently completing postgraduate qualifications in women’s health and paediatrics .
Innes is available for consultations from Tuesday to Friday each week.

Dr Cory Lei graduated from the University of Western Australia. Cory’s areas of interest are children’s health having completed a Diploma of Child Health through the University of Sydney, and managing chronic health problems.

Dr Wilkinson graduated from the University of Nottingham.
Germaine enjoys all aspects of medicine, but has a special interest in women’s health, antenatal care, contraception, travel health, and elderly health.
She is experienced in occupational health, and minor surgical procedures.

Dr Tayal graduated from the University of Western Australia. Richa is interested in Women’s Health, Paediatrics and Chronic Disease.
She is a winner of the RACGP Edward Gawthorn Prize.
Richa has a special interest in medical education, being a lecturer at the University of Western Australia.
Richa is available for consultation on Fridays.

Dr Carla Drake-Brockman MBBS FRACGP
Dr Drake-Brockman is available on Tuesdays and alternate Saturdays

Carla is experienced in women’s health, antenatal care, and child health. She also has a strong professional interest in palliative care continuing to work in hospice services and care of the elderly.
She is particularly experienced with children.

Dr Kuan graduated from the University of Western Australia. He is experienced in dealing with the management of chronic illness, care of the elderly, men’s health, mental health, and complex medical problems.
Derrick is available for consultations at Currambine on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Ms Bonita Berridge - BA Psych, PostGradDipAppPsych, DipEd
Bonnie is a registered psychologist and former teacher with 17 years experience working in various health roles including front-line crisis services. She works with adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety, managing intense emotions, perinatal mental health, grief, relationship and family conflict, substance use problems.
Bonnie approaches her clients with respect, warmth and empathy. She ensures that her care remains client-centred and collaborative using Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Compassion Focussed Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. She has published several academic papers in increasing adolescent engagement for mental health and substance use problems.
Mr Ronnie Bhalvani
Ronnie received his Physiotherapy degree from India in 2006 and went on to work in a hospital setting treating inpatients and outpatients. He arrived in Australia in 2007 completing his Masters in Clinical Exercise Practice in Melbourne while working as a Physiotherapist in a specialist school for kids with special needs in Port Melbourne. Ronnie also has experience working as an Exercise Physiologist in a Private practice in Newcastle before moving to Perth for a role Spinal Cord Injury rehabilitation; running one on one exercise programs.
Clinically he enjoys treating a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions and is particularly interested in exercise based rehabilitation. He believes that full functional recovery needs a combination of hands on Physiotherapy and exercise rehabilitation, to reduce the chances of re-occurrence. Outside of work Ronnie loves tennis, cricket, swimming and cooking.
Dr Jessica Huang MBBS FRACGP
Dr Huang is currently on Maternity Leave
Dr Huang graduated from the University of Western Australia.
She has a special interest in paediatrics, women's health and contraception, being experienced in mirena and copper IUCD insertion and removal.
In addition to her work at Currambine Family Practice, Jessica works at the University educating medical students.
Brenda - Registered Nurse
Brenda is a familiar face to many of our patients. She has worked in the treatment room at Currambine since the practice opened in 2010.
Brenda trained as a Registered Nurse and Midwife in South Africa and has worked in general practice since arriving in Australia in 1999.
Jessie - Registered Nurse
Jessie obtained her Bachelor of Nursing in New Zealand and moved to Australia right away. She absolutely loves living in Perth, and wishes she had made the move sooner.
Jessie works in the treatment rooms at both Ocean Keys and Currambine Practices, and is also responsible for the health education videos on our YouTube channel.
Carole - Assistant Manager
Carole is our assistant manager and has been working at Currambine Family Practice since 2010, Carole has many years of experience working in the Health care industry in both Australia and the UK. Carole oversees the smooth running of our reception team and is always happy to help if you have any questions or concerns.
Chelsea and Lisette
Chelsea and Lisette’s smiling faces are often seen at the reception desk after they joined our team in 2018. Chelsea is currently studying nursing, and Lisette works part time to complement her studies.
Colleen, Jackie, and Toni
These three gorgeous ladies make up some of our wonderful reception and administration team. They are kept very busy welcoming our patients to the surgery, and making appointments for patients that somehow work into both the doctors’ and nurses’ schedules.
